MY WISH LIST

Christmas, my favorite time of the year, is so near you can smell it. I don’t know why but people make lists of things they desire to receive every year but they hardly ever get them. I think just the anticipation that someone might just give you exactly what you wished for is thrilling enough (that is, if you’re lucky). Maybe it brings us back to the time when we all believed that Santa was real and he almost always gave us whatever we wanted (I’m speaking for myself here..), whether it be a bike, a Barbie doll, an RC car, a basketball, a train - name it, he has it! But not all stories are good, though. I have long since wanted a Barbie House for my Barbie dolls but I never got one. I have a Barbie Ice Cream Parlor, though and a Barbie toy jeep, which my Kuya amazingly created himself (it’s made of cardboards and old parts of dilapidated toy cars of his - but believe me, it’s quite impressive!), a Barbie Fashion Plaza, but I never had my Barbie House. That’s why I promised myself that one day, when I have my own daughter, I would buy her one. 
It would be for her AND for me.
Anyway, because tradition (or maybe just pure whim) dictates it, I have to make my Wish List for this year. Who knows? I might get what I want, or not, whatever. For me, it’s the wishing that counts. This is my blog anyway so I can write whatever I want and if Vince is right, no one would ever read this entry, anyway (But I really really hope Santa does, though.) *wink*
So here it is, my Wish List 2005:
1. Books - The Tao of Pooh, The Te of Piglet, Are You Afraid of the Dark (Sheldon), Illustrated versions of Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons, anything by Nicholas Sparks or Paulo Coelho, The Everything You Need to Know Book on Psychics, Sophie’s World, Pugad Baboy or Pupung will also do..
2. An Ipod Nano (Wow!)
3. Anything Pooh (as long as they’re real, no fakes, I’m begging you..)
4. USB Memory Stick
5. UltraElectroMagneticJam CD (the original, please…)
6. Havaianas! (Size 39-40)
7. A new cell phone (Nokia N series sounds nice..)
8. Veritaserum (hehe..)
9. GC’s or Cash gifts are quite welcome, too!
